HBD-Yuumei:Perfect Day

Happy Birthday to Wenqing Yan or a.k.a. Yuumei. And here's a simple colored sketch fan-art of Kai from Knite crossed over with Frey from Fisheye Placebo. Sorry it's all I can do.

Yuumei has always been one of my inspiration. My favourite actually, a very talented, unique and most of all inspiring artist. I bet many of you agree with that. She makes wonderful art works with meaningful messages. When I was first introduced to deviantart, Yuumei's works was one of the first artworks that I have seen *here on da*. Knite was on the Favorite gallery of Funchan , the one who introduced DA to me,.. I'm so grateful TT ^ TT (I've been reading her fanfictions) and Knite just took my breath away!! . And then I read 1000 words, I was so moved & inspired by story!! I've been following her since (3 years ago, I think) then.

I tried a different style in this, I mainly used marker instead of the one I usually use, pen . While I was half-way finished, I noticed some mistakes, one of these is Kai's eyes. The one that was close was in the part of the shadow, even my brother noticed it at first sight. And yes he laughed at me. There was a car in the street too but I removed it cause it didn't looked right.

Both Kai and Frey are original characters of Yuumei!!

I used Paint tool Sai.
